The MPS 400 D4 F4 30 smoke extractor box fan from Ruck features a frequency-driven motor mounted outside the air stream, ensuring that contaminated air or smoke of up to 200 °C does not pass through the motor. This design allows the fan to even withstand short-term temperatures up to 400 °C, making it ideal for demanding environments such as catering, kitchens, or grease-laden exhaust systems. The swing-out construction allows for easy access to the motor and fan components, simplifying inspection, cleaning, and maintenance without the need for full disassembly. To optimize performance, the fan must be operated via a frequency converter, which can optionally be controlled with a variable potentiometer for precise speed adjustment.
