The Ruck smoke box fan (MPS DF series) features a frequency-driven motor mounted outside the airflow. This design ensures that dirty or contaminated air or gases up to 200 °C do not pass through the motor. The fan can even tolerate short-term temperatures up to 400 °C. With the motor positioned outside the airflow, this smoke box fan is ideal for use in catering environments or applications involving grease. Note: the fan requires a frequency converter for operation, which can optionally be adjusted via a variable potentiometer.
