DEXA HR – Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit

The DEXA HR is a decentralised mechanical ventilation unit designed for optimal air quality and heat recovery. Available in Ø100mm and Ø150mm sizes, it offers a practical solution for removing CO2, volatile pollutants, and preventing condensation and mould damage, ensuring healthier indoor air and environment.

Ideal for use in residential applications, the DEXA HR operates ultra-quietly, making it perfect for installation in spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms. It can also be used in parallel operation, where two units are synchronised to provide better airflow balance across multiple rooms.

Features and Benefits

  • Dual Functionality: Alternates between supply and extract fan modes every 70 seconds. During extract mode, the high-efficiency ceramic heat exchanger captures heat from extracted air, which is then transferred to incoming air during the supply mode.
  • Cross-Ventilation: When installed in pairs, the units work in harmony. One unit extracts air from a room while the other supplies air, improving cross-ventilation and overall ventilation effectiveness.
  • Free Cooling Mode: Can be set to free cooling to prevent heat exchange when not needed, such as during warmer months, ensuring optimal airflow without unnecessary energy usage.
  • Condensation and Mould Control: Constant airflow helps to manage condensation and prevents mould formation, maintaining a healthier indoor environment.
  • Removable Front Cover: The modern aesthetic flat front cover is easily removable for quick cleaning without the need for tools.
  • Sustainable Design: Components are made from recyclable materials, promoting an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution.

  • Easy Maintenance: The heat exchanger is easily removable for tenant maintenance.
  • LED Indicator: Built-in LED to indicate when the "free cooling" option is active.

Tested and Certified The DEXA HR is tested to the latest standards, including electrical safety, performance, and noise levels, in TÜV Rheinland recognised laboratories. Manufactured in compliance with EN60335-2-80 (Low Voltage Directive) and the EMC Directive (Electromagnetic Compatibility).

Extra Options

  • Automatic Speed Control: Optional sensors like the Humidity Sensor or PIR Sensor can increase the speed automatically based on air quality needs.
  • Flow Control: Full control of speed or airflow is available with the DEXA HR Control Switch.
