PRODUCT INFORMATION

Manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel, this collar saddle provides a strong, durable branch connection for circular ductwork systems. Designed for professional HVAC and ventilation installations, it is suitable for low, medium and high-pressure applications and is manufactured in accordance with DW144 ductwork standards.

Sizing

First measurement = Branch Diameter
Second measurement = Parent Duct Diameter

For example, 200mm × 315mm represents a 200mm branch connection designed to fit onto 315mm diameter parent ductwork.

Improved Airflow Design

The profiled saddle design provides a smoother transition from the main duct into the branch, helping to reduce airflow resistance and turbulence compared with a conventional straight collar saddle.

Installation

Cut an appropriately sized opening into the spiral or plain circular ductwork, position the saddle over the opening and secure it using rivets or self-drilling screws.

For an airtight installation, seal around the joint edges using a suitable duct sealant, silicone or acrylic sealing compound.
