The Ruck smoke box fan (MPS DF series) features a frequency-controlled motor that is positioned outside the air stream. This design prevents dirty or contaminated air, or gases up to 200 °C, from passing through the motor, ensuring durability and reliability. The fan is capable of handling short-term temperatures up to 400 °C, making it ideal for use in catering environments or applications involving grease. Note that the fan requires a frequency converter for operation, which can optionally be adjusted via a variable potentiometer.
