PRODUCT INFORMATION

The standard method for joining spiral duct sections is with male couplers. Verroloc jointing flanges may be used when easier removal of duct sections is required for maintenance or cleaning.

A flange joint includes two flange rings, attached to the duct ends with screws or rivets, and a closure ring fitted over both flanges. Gasket tape is placed between the flanges to ensure a proper seal.

The main benefit of these flanges is the ability to remove and replace duct sections easily, rather than simplifying installation. They are especially useful for large or high-level ducts. If ducts do not need to be removed periodically, male couplers are sufficient.
